Community Service & Work Permit

Community Service Involvement

Many colleges and universities take a holistic approach to the admissions process.  To be a competitive applicant, be proactive and committed in your extracurricular activities and volunteer work.

Colleges look for students that can show long term commitment and growth in their areas the student are passionate in.  Click here for a list of local community service ideas and more tips.

Remember to maintain a log of your involvement.  It will be useful when applying for scholarships, jobs, and colleges. Click here to download and print a form to log your community service involvement.
