How do I request AP courses?

Students interested in enrolling into the AP program should attend our annual AP Info Night event in May. Learn more about the AP courses that will be offered, meet the AP teachers and students, and how to complete the AP course request enrollment contract. The request deadline for the following year is normally in June. Check this page mid Spring semester for updates on the next AP Info Night.

What is AP?

The College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) program offers college level curricula to high school students.  By scoring successfully on an AP exam, students may receive college credit and save on college expenses. To explore the benefits of AP courses, please visit the CollegeBoard website.

Advanced Placement (AP) courses are college-level courses offered in high school.

Courses reflect what is taught in top introductory college courses.

Students take AP Exams at the end of the course, measuring their master of college-level work.

A score of 3 or higher on an AP Exam can typically earn students college credit and/or placement into advanced courses in college.
